Who it's for
GaloPlan for share-boarding
A share-boarding arrangement rests on a simple agreement, who rides when and who does what, but it quickly blurs over the weeks. GaloPlan puts that agreement in black and white and keeps it up to date for both parties, so the arrangement stays smooth over time.
Clear riding days for everyone
The heart of share-boarding is sharing the days. The shared schedule sets who rides on which day, handles rest days and allows occasional exceptions (a day swap, a conflict) without breaking the routine. No more re-asking "can I ride tomorrow?" every week.
Care tracking that everyone updates
The owner and the share-boarder both record sessions and care in the same log. Each one knows what was worked on the day before, when the horse was wormed, what the farrier said. The horse has a single, shared memory rather than two versions that drift apart.
Communication in the right place
A messaging space dedicated to the horse, with photos and videos, replaces scattered texts and the catch-all WhatsApp group. The photo after the session, the question about the ration, the note about a lameness: everything stays attached to the horse and easy to find.
Good communication is the first condition for share-boarding that lasts: our guide to organising horse share-boarding details the points to settle from the start.
Each their own calendar, the same schedule
Thanks to calendar sync, both the owner and the share-boarder find their riding days and the horse's appointments in their own Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, updated automatically.
Frequently asked questions
GaloPlan focuses on organisation (schedule, care, communication) and does not handle billing or payment splitting. The amount and terms of the arrangement remain to be agreed between the owner and the share-boarder.
The owner creates the horse's space then invites the share-boarder by email; the latter creates their account for free and chooses their own name. A member without a smartphone can also be added without an account.
Yes. The schedule and log work for as many riders as needed; each person has their own colour and role. The free plan lets you invite one person; the Cavalier and Écurie plans have no team limit.
